It was so unbelievably hard to not just fill this list with the cast of ‘The Mortal Instruments‘ and ‘The Infernal Devices‘ because I’m sure you’ve all pretty much guessed by now that I am beyond in love with those books, but many characters still managed to slip into the list…

She has a very good relationship with her father and, after her mother left them, she took over as the mother figure of the house. As a result of having to take over the role of matriarch, she is very resentful of their mother and refuses to acknowledge her. Her relationship with Wren was good before they started college. Cath befriends her roommate Reagan and Reagan’s “boyfriend” Levi, eventually dating the latter. She has very low self-esteem and constantly berates herself for not being more like Wren. As a result of this, she has trouble believing that Levi actually likes her romantically. Despite this, they are very devoted to each other. She also had a cat named Buttercup, and a goat named Lady. Instead, he listens to lectures and books so that he can retain the information. Levi is shown to be incredibly faithful and loyal. He is the person who is most devoted to getting to know Cath and getting her out of her shell. (Rainbow Rowell wrote on her website’s FAQ what Levi’s surname was after she never mentioned it in the book.)
The Harry Potter Series
Harry James Potter (b. 31 July, 1980) was a half-blood wizard, the only child and son of the late James and Lily Potter (née Evans), and one of the most famous and powerful wizards of modern times. In what proved to be a vain attempt to circumvent a prophecy that stated that a boy born at the end of July of 1980 could be able to defeat him, Lord Voldermort tried to murder him when he was a year and three months old. Voldemort murdered Harry’s parents as they tried to protect him, shortly before attacking Harry. This early unsuccessful attempt to vanquish Harry led to Voldemort’s first downfall, marking the end of the First Wizarding War and to Harry henceforth being known as “The Boy Who Lived.” One consequence of Lily’s loving sacrifice was that her orphaned son had to be raised by her only remaining blood relative. Harry was raised by his Muggle aunt Petunia Dursley in a home where he was neither welcomed nor nurtured, but would be protected from Lord Voldemort, at least until he was seventeen years old, only because of a powerful charm Albus Dumbledore made. As the only known survivor, up to that point, of the Killing Curse, Harry was already Wizarding World-famous long before he first arrived at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardy in 1991, to begin the first of what were supposed to have been seven years of study.
